To document a live music event, you are essentially trying to convey one feeling of sensory input to another. The sounds/music that created the energy of that specific moment in time and put those sounds into pictures. Somewhat like explaining the taste of a food that someone has never tried before and describing the flavor in a different language. However it’s not unlike what we try to do as photographers in a lot of regards, but I found music the most difficult to explain with a single image of Photojournalism.
